Only those drivers competing in an S2000 car will be eligible to win the Drivers' Championship outright. Points accumulated while not competing in an S2000 car will count towards the overall Drivers' Championship tally, but will be ignored when calculating points to determine the outright winner of the championship.

Also, one bonus point is awarded to the driver setting the pole position time in Saturday's qualifying session.

One bonus point is awarded to the driver setting the fastest lap time in each race (if two or more drivers achieve this then each earns the bonus point).

One bonus point is awarded to each driver who leads a race across the start/finish line at any stage (this is only awarded once per driver per race).

BTCC Manufacturers' Championship

Points are awarded to a maximum of two cars per registered manufacturer in each race (provided each car is classified as a finisher in the official results). Each manufacturer must nominate two S2000-spec cars at or prior to Saturday's drivers' briefing that follows the qualifying session. Points are awarded as per the Drivers' Championship, although the bonus points are not scored.

BTCC Teams' Championship

Points are awarded to each team's two highest-finishing cars in each race (provided each car is classified as a finisher in the official results). Points are awarded as per the Drivers' Championship, although the bonus points are not scored.

Independents Trophy

Independent entrants (i.e. those without manufacturer support) also battle it out for separate drivers' and teams' titles. Points in the drivers' championship are awarded as per the outright Drivers' Championship, although the bonus points are not scored. Points in the teams' championship are awarded to each team's highest-placed finisher only as per the outright Drivers' Championship points system, although the bonus points are not scored.
